A defect linked to the air conditioning is perhaps at the origin of the fire which completely destroyed a pavilion in Thury-en-Valois, in the south of the Oise, this Wednesday, July 27. It was in the hamlet of Collinance, which has a dozen houses, that this fire occurred. The house on fire being attached to another dwelling, the risk of spread was great. But the action of the rescuers made it possible to save the adjoining dwelling.

Three spears and more than two hours were needed to overcome the disaster. The firefighters stayed part of the night to ensure the clearing and to avoid any resumption of the fire… The inhabitants of the destroyed house, a couple and their two children (the children were absent on the day of the accident), were able to be relocated close to the charred pavilion. The owner of a neighboring house has indeed made accommodation available to them.
