While connected cars or start-ups at the CES in Las Vegas gradually pushed out traditional manufacturers, at the Berlin IFA in early September Samsung and Panasonic clearly benefited from the most impressive stands around the entrance to the trade fair dedicated to consumer electronics.
The Danish manufacturer of luxury loudspeakers Bang & Olufsen marks this comeback with a milestone. Like many tech stocks shaken on the stock market, the almost hundred-year-old brand is responding with its new soundbar. The Beosound Theater with its twelve loudspeakers, the result of three years of development work, will soon offer the lucky ones a sound as pure as a successful design for a modest 6,490 euros. “We will never make white plastic products, Slip, Teaser, B&O CEO Kristian Tear. We want to create magic and immersion.”
