Already announced to the government of Borne during the first composition of May, the mayor of Beauvais Caroline Cayeux should well land a post during the post-legislative reshuffle. BFMTV announces this Monday, July 4 the former senator LR as future Minister Delegate for Local Authorities, confirming initial information from the Parisian.

Already approached after the presidential

If Caroline Cayeux, former close to François Fillon (LR) in 2017 enters the government, it will be the culmination of her rapprochement with Macronie. A rapprochement that began when the mayor of Beauvais was appointed president of the National Agency for Territorial Cohesion (ANCT) in 2021. She then called for Emmanuel Macron to vote in the presidential election. Her territorial expertise, coupled with her change of creamery could be the winning combination for Caroline Cayeux, 73, mayor of Beauvais since 2001.

For the time being, the entourage of Caroline Cayeux refuses to officially comment on this information.
