The French women’s football team has arrived in Beauvais. Les Bleues are playing against the Cameroon Indomitable Lionesses this Saturday, June 25 at the Pierre-Brisson stadium. The kick-off must be whistled around 9:10 p.m. The meeting is also broadcast on W9.

This is a preparation match for the Euro. The competition will take place in England from July 6-31. After several weeks of preparation, it’s time for Corinne Deacon’s players to hold their rank. 3rd world team in the FIFA rankings, France is one of the teams in the running to succeed the Netherlands, reigning champions. But they will first have to get out of the pool trap against Italy, Belgium and Iceland.

Cameroonians are gaining momentum

The whole challenge of the meeting against Cameroon is therefore to find automatisms while executives like Eugénie Le Sommer have not been summoned. Their only previous meeting dates from 2018, and the Blues had largely imposed themselves. But since then, Cameroon has gained momentum. In February 2022, the Indomitable Lionesses even qualified for the final phase of the African Cup of Nations.

A second preparation match is also scheduled for the 1er July. The France team must go to Orleans (Loiret), to confront the players of Vietnam.
