Citroën changes logo and makes Polestar happy
Citroën had resisted marketing Polestar electric cars for more than three years, claiming that their logo was too similar to his. And then suddenly, on September 1st, as if by magic, the conflict was resolved and all resentment was gone. “The complaints have been withdrawn. The case is closed,” the manufacturer simply explained to the double angle. Without saying more, without specifying whether the new agreement was the result of a compromise or a pure renunciation on the part of Citroën.
The end of the story will be revealed this morning of September 27th, the date of the official presentation of the new Citroën logo. A reinterpretation of the double chevron, so different from the current one that there is virtually no likelihood of confusion with the unstructured North Star that characterizes Polestar cars.
