COVID-19: 10 new deaths

The latest public health data from Quebec shows 10 new deaths linked to COVID-19 and a decrease of 46 hospitalizations across the province.

In detail, there are 2,056 hospitalizations, including 694 due to COVID-19. That’s a decrease of 46 from the day before.

As far as intensive care is concerned, 55 people are treated there, including 27 due to COVID-19. This number remained stable compared to the previous day.

In the health network, 4,346 health care workers are absent for reasons related to COVID-19. This figure represents an upturn. A few weeks ago, they were more than 7000 to be absent.

In addition, 1,250 new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded across the province, according to the government report. It should be noted that the number of cases listed is not representative of the current situation, since access to screening centers is reserved for priority clienteles.
