COVID-19: four new deaths

The latest figures from the public health of Quebec report four new deaths related to COVID-19 across the province.

As for hospitalizations and intensive care, the next data will be unveiled on Tuesday, due to a change in methodology.

In the health network, 4,078 health workers are absent for reasons related to COVID-19.

In addition, 758 new COVID-19 cases have been registered across the province, according to the government’s assessment. It should be noted that the number of cases listed is not representative of the current situation, since access to testing centers is reserved for priority clientele.

From August 15, a new dose of COVID-19 vaccine will be available for people in CHSLD, those who reside in RPA, and all vulnerable people living in a collective environment, said last week Dr. Luc Boileau, national director of public health of Quebec.
