COVID-19: hospitalizations continue to decline

The latest public health data from Quebec shows 18 new deaths linked to COVID-19 and a decrease of 56 hospitalizations across the province.

In detail, there are 2,000 hospitalizations, including 678 due to COVID-19, a decrease of 56 compared to the previous day.

As far as intensive care is concerned, 57 people are treated there, including 30 due to COVID-19. This is an increase of two people from the previous day.

In the health network, 4,334 health care workers are absent for reasons related to COVID-19.

In addition, 1,154 new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded across the province, according to the government report. It should be noted that the number of cases listed is not representative of the current situation, since access to screening centers is reserved for priority clienteles.
