COVID-19: only one death in the last 24 hours

The government report lists a new death linked to COVID-19. The human toll of the pandemic has now reached 15,450 deaths in Quebec.

In addition, 3,670 healthcare workers are still absent for reasons related to COVID-19 (preventive withdrawal, isolation, awaiting results, etc.).

Regarding new infections, 368 new cases are reported. However, it should be noted that the number of cases listed is not representative of the current situation, since access to screening centers is reserved for priority clients.

As for rapid tests, 216 results were declared for the day yesterday, including 186 positive. A total of 216,065 rapid tests have been self-reported so far, including 177,280 positives.

A total of 8,208 samples for screening purposes were also taken on June 4.
