France: The judiciary does not force Canal+ to broadcast TF1, according to the press

PARIS (Reuters) – The Paris Commercial Court has refused to force Canal+ to resume broadcasting TF1 via satellite, Le Parisien reported on Thursday, citing AFP. TF1, a Bouygues subsidiary, took action on September 7th in the courts in summary proceedings to force Canal+, a subsidiary of Vivendi, to resume broadcasting of its channels, which had been suspended due to a commercial disagreement.
