At the start of the school year, fuel prices at the pump will drop. Following a compromise between the government, its majority and the Republicans in the National Assembly, the “rebate» put in place in the spring will be extended until the end of the year. And it was increased: from 18 cents on each litre, the deputies increased it to 30 cents during the examination of the amending finance law. This drop in prices was proposed by the Minister of Economy and Finance Bruno Lemaire.

On the other hand, for the last two months of the year, it will only be 10 cents.

After this date, the discount will fall to 10 cents. This discount will be combined with the government discount.

Others do not wait for the start of the school year, such as the cost price offer announced by Michel-Edouard Leclerc this Monday, July 25. This begins on Thursday July 28, on the occasion of the weekend of July 30 and 31, for the great crossover of the summer holidays, between Julyists and Augustians. The measure does not concern network stations located on motorways. Note, however, that the margins of the franchise are already extremely low, the reduction will be mainly symbolic: from 1 to 2 cents only…
