Jaux. A Benevolent Beech School yurt destroyed after being struck by lightning
Lightning struck in the town of Jaux, near Compiègne, on Sunday June 19. The Benevolent Beech school in Jaux is a private school without contract created in 2015. It welcomes children from 3 to 18 years old in the middle of nature. Classes and different activities are provided in 4 yurts using alternative pedagogies. The destruction of this shelter has a negative impact on the activity of the school.
