Legislative 2022: find the results in infographics

The camp of President Emmanuel Macron, Together! obtains only a relative majority in the second round of the 2022 legislative elections, this Sunday, June 19, according to the first results still not consolidated, which attribute to it between 200 and 260 seats. The Nupes would get between 149 and 203 seats. Behind her, the National Rally is making a historic breakthrough and would obtain between 60 and 100 deputies, ahead of Les Républicains credited with 35 to 82 seats.

Marine Le Pen welcomed the fact that the National Rally managed to make Emmanuel Macron “a minority president”, while Jean-Luc Mélenchon considered that the “rout of the presidential party” was “total” and that “no majority” presented itself, on the evening of the second round of the legislative elections, castigating the “moral failure” of the presidential camp.

Among the 15 ministers who were candidates, at least three were not elected: Justine Benin, Brigitte Bourguignon and Amélie de Montchalin and will have to leave the government, according to the first results of this second round.

Abstention still strong

Abstention should reach this Sunday, June 19 between 53.5% and 54% in the second round of the legislative elections, up more than one point compared to the first round (52.49%), according to estimates from five institutes of survey.

“There was no start, analyzes the pollster (Ifop) Frédéric Dabi on LCI. There was however a dramatization of the election, this Nupes-Ensemble match! in almost 280 constituencies, this involvement of the president of the Republic, all that had only a very marginal effect”.
