Ligue 1 results: At the Gabriel-Montpied stadium, a crushing victory for PSG against Clermont (0-5)
The first day of Ligue 1 saw PSG and Clermont face off at the Gabriel-Montpied stadium. Overwhelmed, Clermont could do nothing against PSG who left their opponent no chance (5 to 0). This match was marked by the great performance of Messi, who scored a double. We will also remember the beautiful game of Neymar, who showed himself with his two assists and his goal. Both teams opened the match in 3-4-2-1.
The Parisian club started the first half by hitting hard, thanks to Neymar’s goal (on a Sarabia serve) in the 9th. Then, Hakimi allowed PSG to continue their march forward on a Neymar serve in the 26th. In the 39th, Clermont conceded a goal from Marquinhos. At the break, each team returned to the locker room with a score of 0-3. Then, in the 80th, Messi scored against Clermont. He repeated in the 86th, thus scoring the last goal of the match: with a blow-by-blow goal, he will have scored the match.
The referee handed out a yellow card to Gonalons, Vitinha and Jim Allevinah.
