Alerted by farmers, the Oise firefighters intervened near the town of Luchy, south of Crèvecœur-le-Grand. It was on the edge of Departmental 11 that a stubble fire broke out in the early afternoon of Tuesday July 12.

Two hectares lost, 10 saved

The extinction of this stubble fire required the use of 2 tank trucks as well as a group leader from the Oise SDIS. Stubble is the part of the grain stem that remains standing after harvest. Two hectares of crops burned, but more than 10 hectares are unscathed.
