Mali: Two Minusma peacekeepers killed, four wounded
BAMAKO (Reuters) – Two UN peacekeepers were killed and four others seriously injured in the Kidal region of northern Mali on Monday when an improvised explosive device detonated as their vehicle drove past, Minusma announced on its Twitter account. Members of the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali were conducting a mine search and detection patrol in Tessalit, sources said. Founded in 2013, Minusma currently has around 12,000 military personnel.
