After a sweltering mid-July, the last week, more lenient, relieved the organisms. A respite that should however be short-lived.

According to forecasters, temperatures will rise again this weekend of August 1. On social networks, meteorologist Anthony Grillon (founder of the Météo Contact site) warns: “After a hot weekend without noticeable excess, the start of next week promises to be more and more torrid in France, he announces forecast maps in support. Other meteorologists are making similar predictions.

A mass of warm air should rise via the Mediterranean, first affecting the south and then the whole country. The peak of this heat episode is expected between Wednesday and next Thursday. In the south, temperatures of 40°C (the maximum) are expected.

However, this heat wave should be less long and intense than that of mid-July.
