Sainte-Genevieve. “Mobility for Hervé”: disabled, he launches a kitty to buy a van for 50,000 euros

Hervé Herbomez is 18 years old and lives in Sainte-Geneviève (Oise). He has just had his general baccalaureate and has started to follow highway code courses in order to pass his driving licence. Nothing abnormal so far. Except that the young man has been disabled since birth. He has a degenerative genetic disease called Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Since his adolescence, he has been in a wheelchair.

On July 1, he decided to launch an online solidarity fundraising kitty to be able to acquire a van big enough to fit his wheelchair in and be able to move around independently when he wants, and where he wants. Only the interior fittings will be financed by the State. In the meantime, here is the link to Hervé’s pot, who wants to raise 50,000 euros which will be donated directly to the automotive organization.

Discover in video images Hervé and two elected officials of the town who came to support him a week after the launch of his kitty:
