Tesla in great shape returns in… France

But where will it stop? Tesla is back on the rise in the third quarter as well. With a total of 343,830 vehicles sold. The Californian electric-car maker has grown its volume by 42% in a year, even as deliveries fall short of analysts’ forecasts of between 343,000 and 370,000 units. The success of the one that all its competitors are jealous of is undeniable, despite the arrival of competing models and a price that is nothing short of democratic. The basic model (Tesla 3) is 53,490 euros. And the price continues to rise (46,690 euros last March, 36,800 in January 2021)). The peak values are 141,990 (Tesla X). The company, which plans to release its quarterly results on October 19, is mostly surfing on its hip image as a sore star.

The Group’s production also increased in the third quarter to 365,923 vehicles (+54% over one year). The globalized manufacturer is hoping for logistical difficulties as a result of a “more balanced distribution of production across the various regions”, especially since the opening of two additional plants at the beginning of the year in Grünheide near Berlin and in Austin, Texas. 2,000 Tesla Y SUVs were produced across the Rhine in one week, a record confirming a strong ramp-up.
