MILAN (Reuters) – Telecom Italia, Italy’s leading telecommunications operator, said on Thursday it had signed an agreement with Benetton Group to digitize more than 300 of the fashion group’s administrative sites, stores and production sites worldwide.

The former Telecom Italia and its subsidiary Sparkle will provide Benetton with an infrastructure called SD WAN (Software-Defined Wide Area Network) which will provide employees of Benetton and its stores in Europe, Africa and Asia with secure access to all of the group’s information systems, even on the move, explains the operator.
