UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) – The United Nations will investigate the attack on Olenivka prison in eastern Ukraine under the control of pro-Russian separatists, at the request of Kyiv and Moscow, said on Wednesday the Secretary General of the United Nations.
About fifty Ukrainian prisoners of war died in the bombardment of this prison located in separatist territory on July 29. Russia and Ukraine blame each other for this strike.
Antonio Guterres specified that the modalities of the fact-finding mission were being prepared, in consultation with Kyiv and Moscow.
