By then, the two components of the set of measures will still have to pass several stages, before the Senate, the Assembly, and joint joint commissions. End of the audiovisual royalty, tax on the superprofits, monetization of the RTT… Some elements of the text could still give rise to heated debates. Update on the last phase of drafting a law with a tumultuous course.

  • Where is the Purchasing Power Act in its legislative journey?

The set of measures for the purchasing power of the French consists of two pieces of legislation. The first part of the law includes measures such as the tripling of the ceiling of the “Macron bonus”, the deconjugalization of the allowance for disabled adults, the revaluation of APL, the restarting of a coal-fired power station in Moselle or even the facilitation of online termination procedures. It also provides for the increase of the RSA, family allowances, and other social aid up to 4%. This part of the law was voted and amended by the National Assembly, then by the Senate, and arrives this Monday 1er August in a joint committee, a body composed of senators and deputies, responsible for finding a compromise version of the text between the two chambers.
